I'm a huge fan of the works of James Joyce, particularly his novels. His early set of poems are not exactly my favorites, but I decided a long time ago that I'd like to set all 35 of the poems, as sets in different fashion. The first set are 5 simple songs for baritone and piano. These will soon be recorded by Matt Herriman, and hopefully released next year. |
