C(More) is a tribute to the recently departed J.D. Salinger. His short story "A Perfect Day for Bananafish" is one of my favorites. The main character is Seymore Glass, a troubled ex-soldier who commits suicide. This small orchestral prelude will (hopefully) be performed this spring by the UCR Orchestra.
